Americans like answering questions, dislike community-based organizations

A new Public Policy Polling poll has been released, with some intriguing results.  First off, there seem to be a large number of people who think Obama stole the election, which I guess is not news.

Do you think Democrats engaged in voter fraud to ensure that Barack Obama won the election, or not?
Democrats engaged in voter fraud.................. 30%
They did not .................................................... 59%
Not sure .......................................................... 11%

Still, 30%?  That's a lot of people.  Even more surprising:

Do you think that Barack Obama legitimately won the Presidential election this year, or do you think that ACORN stole it for him?
Obama legitimately won.................................. 66%
ACORN stole it for him.................................... 24%
Not sure .......................................................... 10%

Per Wikipedia: "[ACORN] filed for Chapter 7 liquidation on November 2, 2010, effectively closing the organization."  So, we live in a country where 24% of people believe a non-existent organization stole the election for Obama now.

Do you support or oppose the Bowles-Simpson plan?
Support ........................................................... 23%
Oppose ........................................................... 16%
Not sure .......................................................... 60%

24% of people are sure Obama stole the election with help from ACORN, and just 39% know about the main deficit reduction plan being discussed at the moment.  Depressing!  However, it gets worse:

Do you support or oppose the Panetta-Burns plan?
Support ........................................................... 8%
Oppose ........................................................... 17%
Not sure .......................................................... 75%

Even fewer people had heard of the Panetta-Burns plan--just one quarter of respondents.  That makes no sense, because the Panetta-Burns plan is NOT FUCKING REAL.  One quarter of the country is so eager to give their opinion that they don't even care if they have any clue what they're talking about.  I give up.

<insert joke about moving to Canada here>
